Hola, I’m Alanna Villanueva, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science and a Master’s in Social Work—both from California Baptist University. My journey into social work began with a deep calling to care for and serve others, and over the years, that calling has grown into a meaningful career supporting individuals, families, and communities both across California and internationally. My clinical background includes work with a variety of populations, including individuals navigating body image challenges with their relationship with food, mamas in the pregnancy and postpartum seasons, and those processing spiritual pain or experiences of church hurt. I believe healing is multi-dimensional—physical, emotional, and spiritual—and I strive to meet people with compassion wherever they are on that journey. Now, I have the privilege of walking alongside Associate Clinical Social Workers as a clinical supervisor. It’s an honor to mentor and support new clinicians as they build confidence, deepen their clinical skills, and take meaningful steps toward licensure and lifelong practice.
